  hi another kingsom hall is up for sale if you look in the rightmove property website and look for bradford in the uk you will see that its priced at £170,000.. but why should they need to be selling a kingdom hall off espically when they are not printing about 50 million magazines a month they vant be that short of money can they ?

  This one was a quick build in the mid 1990's to seat approx 60.

  I saw the location as NELSON but missed the NZ bit. I thought that looks smart for Nelson in Lancashire!

  Here in the UK almost every KH built or restored in the last 20 years has this exact design of table.. The lectern is of a similar shape. As has been mentioned it is just a practical design for two people sitting facing each other and the audience, nothing sinister.

  The tables, lecterns, magazine and literature cupboards are all the same as it is the same company that makes all the woodwork for the KH's and it make sense to use a standard design.

  One thing I would say though, we needed new doors on our hall following the old ones being vandalised and it was about half the price to have a local company make them to size rather than the original company supply new ones. As I understand it the company is run by "brothers".....

  i heard on the meeting about apps called nwpublisher and cartsmart.

  new world publisher (nw publisher) is a free apple ios and google android app created by jehovah’s witnesses for jehovah’s witnesses.

  congregation publishers can install new world publisher on their mobile devices and be more united and connected with their congregation.. cartsmart was built to streamline the way we schedule our public witnessing shifts.

  Our congregation implemented this some time back. We had a Local Needs to explain all about it. My concern is how secure are people's personal data and is this registered (if needed) with the GDPR.

  So everyone stops paying council tax and utilities bills. What then happens? The power goes off, no gas, no water, the bins are not emptied and on it goes. In no time we would become more of a third world country than we already are.

  Bring back Margaret Thatcher, the Poll Tax and return our beloved country to what it used to be before it was screwed up by the likes of Blair, Cameron, Sunak.

  Whatever happens I am am too old to be affected by it but I feel for the youngsters who in a couple of decades will be living in a Muslim hell hole.

  the recent broad casts about not handing in time sheets, and then about beards, especially the beards, it seems so trivial, are those talks only released in order to distract the followers from the recent court case they lost on spain, from the csa cases, the kh sales and so on?.

  i reckon they're taking their lead from the media, distract and divide tactics..

  Unless you are on a site such as this you will never hear anything about the case in Spain, the CSA cases, Norway or anything else of that type. Should anyone dare to mention such they would be accused of promoting "apostate lies".

  i remember, probably at least two decades ago, a small news snippet about someone was going around brooklyn heights and setting fire to christmas wreaths on people's doors.

  i've always personally suspected* that it was a bored/semi-insane bethelite.

  the assembly hall i believe used to be a reformed school for boys and was completely renovated and dedicated in 1985.. it was the only assembly hall i knew of that sold souvenir pens, book marks and notepads.. .

  It is to my belief,, that this Rutherford was separated from his wife and kid(s) through the latter years of his life.

  As I remember JFR was split from his wife, NY winters were too cold for him due to health problems caused by his incarceration.

  He had one son, Malcolm, who worked with CTR as his stenographer at one time. He married his wife Pauline and I have seen a photo of them on here with JFR in Hawaii at a convention. After 1942 Malcolm seems to get little mention but Mary Rutherford is mentioned in the Proclaimers Book, I think she died in the 1960's.
